Do my friends need accounts?

No. Guests open the invite link and can follow the whole trip read-only; claiming a name to join in takes seconds. Only the organizer signs up.

What does TripTab get from my Google account?

Just your name, email address and profile photo, used only to create and secure your account. TripTab never posts as you, reads your mail, or touches your files.

Where does my data live?

Trips are stored securely in the cloud (Supabase) behind row-level security — only people on your trip can see it. Updates sync to the whole crew live.

What exactly is behind the paywall?

The free Scout plan covers two trips end-to-end. Trailblazer unlocks unlimited trips, the 3D route tours, receipt & PDF storage, custom splits and custom covers.

Is it only for road trips?

Not at all — flag a trip as a holiday and the map, route style and categories adapt. Flights welcome.

TripTab is a group trip planner. Organizers build a shared itinerary with bookings and a route map, invite their crew with one link (viewing needs no account), run crew polls, and track shared expenses with fair, multi-currency splitting and settle-up — so nobody chases anybody for gas money after the trip.

Signing in: TripTab uses Google Sign-In only to create and secure your account. It receives your name, email address and profile photo — nothing else — and never posts, reads mail, or accesses files.
